So today is my wife and my 37th anniversary. To celebrate, I made a special dinner: French Onion soup, a wild mushroom with Truffles and scallops risotto and sauteed asparagus. All with a nice Sattui red wine. For the risotto, I used fresh chicken broth which I made in the morning with wild mushroom broth from the wild mushrooms. It came out fantastic.
The Maryland Pig Roaster, working with Howard and the Town Grill crew, will have the mobile kitchen at Larriland farms on weekends beginning September 26 through October 31. The Town Grill will have their usual setups their with the big tent selling their food and the barn selling cider and apple fritters. Come on down for some good food.
