Special dinner for 37th anniversary

So today is my wife and my 37th anniversary. To celebrate, I made a special dinner: French Onion soup, a wild mushroom with Truffles and scallops risotto and sauteed asparagus. All with a nice Sattui red wine. For the risotto, I used fresh chicken broth which I made in the morning with wild mushroom broth from the wild mushrooms.  It came out fantastic.

Larriland farms, Town Grill and the Mobile Kitchen

The Maryland Pig Roaster, working with Howard and the Town Grill crew, will have the mobile kitchen at Larriland farms on weekends beginning September 26 through October 31. We are honored to be selling the Town Grill products from the mobile kitchen.  This is an annual affair for Larriland farms and Town Grill and this year we are participating. The Town Grill will have their usual setups their with the big tent selling their food and the barn selling cider and apple fritters.  Come on down for some good food.

As on the other post: Days End Horse Rescue Farm June 6 2015 we have the mobile kitchen going also on June 6.  On June 7 we have 2 pigs being roasted, one is a pickup for John in Ellicott City and we have a wedding for Rebecca and David in Westminster.
